Imagine a world where you can’t tell who’s a human anymore. You’re quarantined in your home because there are creatures disguised as humans roaming around during an extreme heat wave.
No, I’m not a Human is a first-person psychological horror game developed by Trioskaz and published by Critical Reflex.
In order to survive, it’s up to you to speak to the people that approach your door seeking shelter. You know that there is safety in numbers, so you must make a decision quickly. The ones you must steer clear of are the creatures called “Visitors.”
It’s not always easy to tell if the person at your door is human. Luckily, you’re allowed to question them, and there are some tell-tale signs of a Visitor.
Signs of a Visitor:
- Perfect white teeth
- Bloodshot eyes
- Dirt under fingernails
- Hairless armpits
- Black patches in aura photos
Unfortunately, you have limited energy, so you can’t always check all of your guests. You have to choose who and what you test wisely. Additionally, you can turn into a Visitor, so you have to check yourself regularly as well.
You’ll know if you accidentally allowed a Visitor in your home if you find one of your guests dead; their body will be in trash bags. You must then try to figure out who the Visitor is in your home and execute it.
However, if you kill someone and find out that it was actually a person, their body will also end up in trash bags. When you actually kill a Visitor, the screen will glitch, and you’ll see a gory corpse.
I haven’t played No, I’m not a Human yet, but I’ve watched multiple YouTubers play it. I knew from the demo of this game that I was going to like the unique game concept and the art style.
If you haven’t played or seen this game, check it out! I can’t recommend it enough.
