I’m sure you’ve seen her around the school. Elizani Ruff, a junior music major, has been selling Dubai Chocolate cookies for 4 dollars each. Ever since Dubai Pistachio Chocolate has been on the rise, it was only inevitable that someone decided to start selling them to their consumerist friends at school. Personally I’ve bought a couple, I too have fallen into the consumerism clutches. But is it really a bad thing, when the profit is going to a nice high school girl?
Elizani says, “I got the idea from my family, because they thought they [the Dubai Chocolate cookies] were good. Plus I also thought it would be something good to sell because I love baking!”
Me too girl, me too.
These cookies really were interesting in a good way, I’ve never had anything like it. When Crumbl announced they were making something Dubai Chocolate related, this was what we wanted, rather than those boring brownies. How many times have you bought those 1,000 calorie cookies from Crumbl and felt sick from how sweet it is? I know I have, so why not buy Elizani’s cookies, when hers (though not by much) have less calories? The Pistachio and the chocolate on top really work well with the cookies.
When I asked her if she made this delicious recipe she said, “Mostly, it’s more like I tweaked a different recipe so it’s like It’s my recipe right? I made my own recipe for the combo[the Dubai Chocolate topping and cookie].”
As someone who has made a Dubai Chocolate bar, it tastes genuinely so similar. These cookies are worth every penny, considering the size and the flavor, at this point if you haven’t bought one, you’re missing out.
