A NIGHT TO REMEMBER REVIEW

A NIGHT TO REMEMBER REVIEW

TAKE NOTE

In a collaboration that a number of people have been waiting for, Beabadoobee and Laufey harmonize on “A Night To Remember.”

I wasn’t praying day and night for this collaboration to happen, but when I heard it was happening I was definitely excited to listen. I know within their type of music both Laufey and Beabadoobee are the biggest artists and have huge fan bases behind them.

It felt like a mixture of both their styles instrumentally, and a bit more out-of-the-box and sensual lyrically. Based around warm acoustic guitar and silky strings, it gives space for both singers to lay down smooth, soft-spoken vocals paying homage to a memorable evening “underneath the sheets.”

I really enjoyed this song and the calmness throughout the duration of it. The softness almost reminds me of being on a beach and watching the waves of the ocean. Both artists performed how everybody expected them to, wonderfully.

I don’t think this will be a song that will completely blow up at all, the pace is very slow and there isn’t much catchiness to it. You would really have to be a fan of this genre of music to like it and enjoy it to the fullest extent.
