HEARTSTOPPER S2

FLIP FEATURE

Read the season one review here:https://thesirenlppacs.com/7138/flip-feature/heartstopper-s1/

I like this season so much better than the first one, and I’m so glad for that. Overall, the writing and acting were so much better than it had been. The season’s sets and charterers were on a much grander scale, which I feel played into the shows strengths.

Rather than being just at the two schools and the houses, we got to look at how the characters act in places such as Paris, and an art school, and at prom. And the characters benefited from that. They were able to show off their sills, quirks, and love when given a chance. They also had so much more depth.

There was more inclusivity this season and it really helps the show in general. More trans characters, ace representation, and disability rep. All of these really help people to feel safer when viewing a piece of media.

I feel like this was a very good season, And I’m hoping that a next season is coming and that it is even grander and even more exciting than season two.
