With basketball season just starting up, the boys’ and girls’ Lincoln Park Leopards have seemingly been playing with a chip on their shoulder this season. The boys’ are 3-0 and the girls’ are 4-0, both teams show no sign of slowing down anytime soon.

In their first game, the boys’ beat Imani Christian Academy 77-74 in a thriller between the top two sophomores in the state, Imani Christian’s Alier Maluk and LP’s Meleek Thomas. Their next game against Montour they won 70-50, and their most recent game against Moon they won 77-55. They will be hosting the Beaver Bobcats on the 16th at 7:30, come support your LP Leopards!

The Lady Leopards has been rolling through their schedule so far this season, they won their first game 59-38 against the defending 1A WPIAL champions Bishop Canevin. Then won their next game against Fort Cherry with a score of 60-31. Their most recent game against Westinghouse they dominated the bullsdogs, ending the game with a score of 70-28. Their next game is at home against Central Valley on the 15th. Come and show support for the lady leopards!
