I AM IN LOVE WITH MY LOCAL LIBRARY I WANT TO MARRY IT

BOOKING IT WITH EMMA

October 24, 2022

Do you ever wanna read a book but you don’t wanna spend the money on it? What if you don’t like it? What if you end up not finishing it and you don’t want to put it on your bookshelf?

Well, you’re in luck! Hey! Library cards exist, and they are pretty freaking awesome. There is a county-wide library card for Allegheny County, which means the card works at any library in Allegheny County.

In my opinion that’s kinda awesome.

Getting a library card is free and honestly fairly easy. All you have to do really is sign up for it physically at your library or your library’s website. It’s that easy!

Library cards help you sign out books, audio books, and sometimes even movies. On occasion there are puppets you could sign out, but those aren’t at every library.

Library cards are definitely the best way to find out if you like the book you wanna read instead of spending money on a book you aren’t even going to finish. That way if you don’t like it you can bring it right back, no harm no foul.

Let me know if you have a library card! If you don’t, and why not?
