BRINGING GREENERY INTO YOUR ROOM (AND WHY YOU SHOULD DO IT)

REDO YOUR ROOM WITH GRACE

October 13, 2022

Is your room dull? Boring? Bland? I have the solution for you!

I know it might be hard, but if you take even a step outside and look around, you might see some green stuff around you. Notice how this green stuff seems to brighten the world around you? Maybe it helps “reset” your mind?

Well, the simple solution to bringing your room to life is to add life.

If you couldn’t figure it out by now, the answer is plants.

By plants I mean living things themselves; they have a lot of potential benefits for you and your room.

Not only could they add color to your room and make your room feel cozier, but they can also provide some health benefits.

Since plants naturally produce oxygen (as we all learn from biology class). When you house plants in your bedroom, you increase the levels of oxygen in your room, which helps you get more oxygen into your bloodstream. This can help reduce stress and anxiety; it can  also help with headaches and your immune system.

Plus, keeping plants can be rewarding because you have to take care of them by watering them and making sure they get enough sunlight. This can increase serotonin and make you a bit happier (which, let’s be honest, we all need).

So next time you pass a plant at your local hardware store that needs a home, consider adopting it. Now you have motivation to get up every morning so it doesn’t die!

You’re welcome.
