With the beginning of sports seasons kicking off, our LP sports teams have some wins under their belts along with some losses.
With an upcoming game against Freedom on Sept. 19 at home, the LP girls’ volleyball team is standing at a score of one to five with one win against Beaver Falls.
The LP football team, co-opped with Western Beaver, is standing at a strong three to zero and faces off Neshannock, another undefeated team, this Saturday at Western beaver for the first section game of the season.
Our golf team this year has a record of 1-9, and is heading to Shadow Lakes Golf Course on Sept. 19 to play in the boys sectionals.
In upcoming news for this winter: the boys and girls basketball season will kick off with the boys’ first game being at home against Montour on Dec. 12, and the girls’ first game being on Jan. 9 at Moon.
There are lots of good games and matches to be played this year with LP-sponsored sports, so come out and show support this year!
