During A lunch, a student was amused by a bird flitting between tree branches. Other accounts also describe the student as “tickled pink” and “over the moon.”
The student, a sophomore film and broadcast journalism major by the name of Robin Pierce, first saw the bird hopping around on the concrete at the start of lunch. It was quickly scared off as more students brought their lunch outside, flying into a tree where it continued to entertain Pierce.
According to Pierce, the bird was a dark color and quite agile. “It was hopping around faster than I ever thought a bird could hop,” said Pierce, who promptly began to giggle at the memory. “I didn’t know that they could move like that.”
