HOW TO BE THE SCARIEST GHOUL ON THE ZOOM CALL

FASHION TIPS WITH MEG

October 26, 2020

Boo! Ahh! It’s Halloween night and you can’t find a cute, yet spooky costume for the Zoom call Halloween party your friends invited you to, so what are you going to wear?! Don’t get too scared during this pandemic. On this spooky edition of Fashion Tips With Meg, I’m going to give you my tricks and treats on how to be the coolest ghoul in the chat! I know trick or treating isn’t happening in many areas and Halloween parties is a big no go, but I got you covered with some frightening looks for you and your friends on a Zoom call Halloween party!

1. Let’s get spooky… with our makeup!

Can’t find any costumes that look good? Don’t feel like spending money on a costume just to wear it one time? No problem! Google a scary Halloween makeup look and do some makeup! 2020’s most popular makeup looks are Jack and Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas, eye makeup looks from the HBO showEuphoria, and half face Pumpkin looks. Makeup looks are always an easy way to make your Halloween cute and creepy. Makeup looks are great ways to express yourself through different forms of eyeshadows, lipsticks, and of course, my favorite – glitter!

2. Wear a cloak

Yes, I said that correctly. Wear a cloak on your Zoom! Cloaks are stylish and scary for all my favorite witches out there. You don’t even have to take your pajamas off. Just put a cloak over your clothes you already have on! There are so many ways to style them and it’s a super simple look for anyone of all ages. Cloaks are even spooky when you do a scary makeup look or mask with it!

3. Group costumes

Group costumes are fun ideas for friends to do for Halloween any year, but mostly, this year because you can do a group Zoom costume for your friend group! There are so many different group ideas you can do. Here are some of my top 10 favorite Halloween ideas.

  1. The Mystery Gang from Scooby Doo
  2. Euphoria
  3. The Sanderson sister from Hocus Pocus
  4. Disney Princesses and/or any Disney characters
  5. That’ 70s Show
  6. Willy Wonka and the oompa loompas
  7. The cast of Clueless
  8. The Breakfast Club
  9. Heathers
  10. Coraline

Each of these group costume ideas are fun and your friends and you can get creative with them! You can be the cast of Clueless, but as zombies. You can make Disney princesses into vampires, etc. The ideas are endless! Group costumes are easy and you can even do couples costumes if you and your boo want to be the scariest couple in town!

I hope you enjoyed this spooky edition of Fashion tips With Meg. Stay fabulous and Happy Halloween. See you next time!
