Have you been staying updated on the series Stranger Things? Well, if you haven’t, that’s a real shame on you because it deserves more than a 10/10 on this sleep scale. I really love Stranger Things, and every time it seems to amaze me about how it can continue the plot and become even better.
If you didn’t know, it was originally supposed to be called Montauk. It was thought of by the Duffers brothers Ross and Matt. The inspiration of it came from cinematic characters; they just wanted to create something about horror with a teenage protagonist like the early 8os. The development of Stranger Things was in 2011- 2012, using a lot of Montauk project conspiracy theories for the realism. When originally trying to get their show out to other networks, they kept getting rejected until Netflix actually accepted them.
Stranger Things first released on Netflix July 15, 2016. As soon as it came out, it was a massive hit, catching young kids’ and adults’ attention. It has continued coming out with the 5th season, which just recently released on Nov 26, and the rest of the volume came out Dec 25, and then again on Dec 31.

Here are some things that you might not know about Stranger Things, though, which is honestly interesting to me. Let’s start with the fact that they planned on killing Steve Harrington in season one. Like, what?

There is also the fact that Eleven’s character is inspired by E.T. This is actually kinda understandable to me. However, the thing that confused me is that, in earlier drafts, the main character wasn’t as much Eleven as it was Hopper. I wonder how that even worked or if it was actually any good.
Well, that’s a couple of fun facts and history about Stranger Things, but I hope that everyone tunes in and states their opinion. Do you enjoy watching Stranger Things or no? Comment below!
