Have you ever watched Karate Kid? Well if you have, I am glad to personally tell you about the new one that just came out: The Karate Kid Legends.
It is about perseverance, finding yourself, pushing through tough challenges, and having faith that you can get through anything if you believe in yourself and the others around you.
In the movie, The Karate Kid Legends, Li Fong moves to New York with his mother after his brother dies. Fong’s mother was accepted to a new job, and while he is trying to adapt to it all, he meets a girl named Mia. He also meets a karate champion, Connor, who oddly turns out to be Mia’s ex.
This movie has a whole bunch of twists and turns, and if you want to understand it, you might want to watch Cobra Kia. If you haven’t, you probably wouldn’t understand some parts. One of those being where Daniel LaRusso comes in, and trains him the techniques of Miyagi Do. LaRusso takes him under his wing, and helps him to be something he doesn’t think he can be. He guides him and uses karate as training for his mental and physical mind.

Fong uses his past skills in Kung Fu and the skill he learned from LaRusso in karate, and combines them together. This is so he can prepare, and hopefully win the competition.
He uses the memory of his brother to fight. Even when faced with conflict, he continues to fight and keeps pushing through no matter what.
I rate this movie a 10/10 on my sleep scale because it shows that even through hardships, grieving, and desperation, Fong continues to fight. He continues to try his best to make a difference in his own life. No matter what gets in the way, he still find a way to win the tournament.
