MEG'S PLAYLIST
March 8, 2021
Welcome back! Today, I am going to be talking about one of my all time favorite band, A Day To Remember. On this special two-part column for you, I will be reviewing 4 of their albums that I personally love. Stay tuned for the next Meg’s Playlist, where I will be reviewing their brand new album!
AND THEIR NAME WAS TREASON
This was their first album that released in 2005. The album has 10 song and is 31 minutes long. This album is a hard rock album that includes Casablanca Sucked Anyways, You Had Me At Hello, and 1958. My top three songs off the album are,
- You Had Me At Hello
- You Should Have Killed Me When You Had The Chance
- Heartless
I personally love this album from them. Being their first, you can tell that they wanted to show the world what they can do.
FOR THOSE WHO HAVE HEART (Deluxe Edition)
This is the second album of theirs that came out in 2007. The album has 26 songs and is an hour and 28 minutes long. The album includes Fast Forward to 2012, Since U Been Gone, and A Shot In The Dark. My top three songs of this album are:
- since U Been Gone
- Monument
- The Plot to Bomb the Panhandle
I really enjoy this album because they added songs from their first album and included songs that were played live at different places. They really pushed themselves on this album and they improved their sound.
HOMESICK
This is their third studio album that came out in 2009. It has 12 songs and is 40 minutes long. The album includes, If It Means A Lot To You, Mr. Highway Is Thinking About The End, I’m made of Wax, Larry, What are you made of? My top three songs are:
- The Downfall of Us All
- NJ Legion Iced Tea
- Have Faith In Me
This is one of their personal bests and it has always been my favorite of theirs. They have such a unique way of changing their sound, but adding different stories to them.
BAD VIBRATIONS
This is their sixth album. It has 13 songs and is 49 minutes long. It includes Paranoia, Exposed, and Forgive and Forget. My top three songs of this album are:
- Same About You
- Bullfight
- Bad Vibrations
This is one of their most popular albums and I love it. The album really reflects on the negative parts of life.
That ‘s all I have for you today! See you next week when I review their new album! Let’s jam to some music on the next Meg’s Playlist.
